Dr. Keith Lynn Cherryholmes , died August 19, 2010 after a long illness. A celebration of his life was held in August in White Bear Lake, MN. Committal services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 16 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville with Reverend Mark Martin officiating. A visitation will follow at Lensing’s Oak Hill from 11 am – 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the CaringBridge website or to the Can Do Canine Training Facility.
Survived by wife, Beth; children, Randy, Bradley (Michelle) and Richan; grandchildren, Brevin, Branden, Dylan and Aaliyah; brother, Craig (Susie) and sister, Marla (Fred) Staude.
Dr. Cherryholmes was born in Nevada, Iowa and received his higher education from Iowa State University and The University of Iowa. Though he lived in other states, he considered Iowa (especially Iowa City) his home. He was a long-time member and Deacon of St Andrew Presbyterian Church (Iowa City). Before moving to Minnesota, he was Assistant Director of the State’s Hygienic Lab in Iowa City. In Minnesota, he was still employed by the MN Pollution Control Agency and involved in the local Lions club and Lions International and a member of First Presbyterian Church of White Bear Lake.
