Sat Pal Handa, 83, of Coralville died at home Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
Family services were held Thursday at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service. Mr. Handa’s cremated remains will be returned to India so that they may be placed in the Ganges River.
Mr. Handa was born on May 1, 1927 in Ludhiana, India, and came to the United States in 1983.
Survivors include his two sons, Puneet Handa of North Liberty and Suneet Handa of New Delhi, India; 5 grandchildren, Sakshi Handa of Iowa City, Anant Handa of Chicago, Neelesh Handa of Coralville and Nikita and Nikhil Handa, both of India.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kamla
