Patricia L. Borchers, 82, formerly of Davenport, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Windmill Manor in Coralville, Iowa.

Pat was born February 29, 1928 in Wheatland, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Mildred (Heckard)
Hamdorf. Pat married Wayne Borchers on February 7, 1947 in Davenport. She was a teachers aid for many years at Jefferson Elementary School in Davenport.

Pat enjoyed painting with acrylics, gardening and had a passion in caring for her animals.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Linda Rowold of Iowa City, Vicki Tate (Ralph) of Amherst, MA., and Kathy O’Donnell (Robert) of Clinton, Iowa, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a special niece, Marcheta Duge of Davenport.

Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
