Monday January 3, 1916JAMES PAINTIN DIES OF PNEUMONIA
CARPENTER HERE DIED ON NEW YEAR'S DAY AFTER WEEK'S ILLNESS
----------------------------------------------James Paintin, a well known carpenter here, died Jan. 1, at 4:15 pm., at his home in Coralville, after an illness of one week. Pneumonia was the cause of his death.
He was 60 years of age and leaves a wife and seven children -- three sons and four daughters, J. P. PAINTIN, F. E. PAINTIN, P. P. PAINTIN, Mrs. Arch HEMPHILL, Mrs. Glen ROBINSON, Mrs. Frank BOWMAN, Mrs. Milo Alt; also one sister, Mrs. Ed KOSER, and one brother, John T. PAINTIN. Mr. PAINTIN has been in the employ of F. X. Freyder for the past thirteen years and was well known and highly respected here.
The funeral took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Coralville church and burial was in the Coralville cemetery.
