Anthony Jefferson, 40, of Iowa City, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Mercy Hospice Care in Iowa City of cancer.

Anthony was born July 10, 1969 in Chicago, Illnois. He has lived in Iowa City for the past eight years and worked in construction.

He enjoyed the outdoors and working on cars. He liked to fish and listen to music.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Tammy Vasquez of Iowa City; his children, Cayden Ramsey, Rashawn Jefferson and D. Anthony Jefferson; three step-children, Maria Zamora, Carlos Zamora and Destiny Vasquez.
