Robert P. Crawford, 86, of Iowa City died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Mercy Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Michael Lynch officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 am Wednesday at the Church. A memorial fund has been established.
Robert was born September 4, 1923 in Iowa City, the son of Harold and Ella Mae Crawford. He had been employed from 1945-1985 in the dietary department at UIHC. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and a proud supporter of Disabled Veterans.
Robert loved the Lord with all his heart and soul.
Survivors include four siblings, Delores and Betty Crawford, both of Iowa City, Duane of North Liberty and Dorothy (John) McFarland of Orlando; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Richard, Ronnie, Russell, Donnie and Arlene.
