Lois Joan Taylor McHenry, 79, of Coralville, died suddenly Sunday, December 27, 2009 at home of a heart attack.

Lois was born July 14, 1930 in Farmersville, Ohio, the daughter of Walter and Corrine (Killian) Taylor. She grew up and graduated from high school in Lewisburg, Ohio. Lois married Leslie E. McHenry in 1953.
She received her teaching degree from Miami University in Ohio in the early 1950’s. She taught Jr. high school in Ohio until returning to college to receive her RN degree from Clark State College (formerly Clark Technical College) in 1982. She worked as a registered nurse until her retirement in 1994.

Survivors include her children, Ann Wieland of Coralville, Jill VanBuskirk (Greg) of Sioux City, Iowa, and Mark McHenry (Julie) of Madison, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Garrett, Rachel and Ross; three brothers, Dr. John Taylor of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Walter Taylor (Sheila) of Cumberland, Ohio and Gene Taylor (Donna) of Delaware and several nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents.
