Ania Juliana Schmidt, 45, formerly of Iowa City, died October 24, 2009 in Miami, FL.

Ania was born on February 18, 1964 in Detroit, MI to Julius and Carolyn (Wolf) Schmidt. She graduated from the University of Iowa in Art History. Ania moved to Florida and worked in the Jewelry Industry.

She is survived by her father, Julius of Iowa City, three siblings: Ianos Schmidt (Natasha) of Iowa City, Araan Schmidt, Petra Samprey, niece/nephew: Alexander and Tatiana Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn.
