Margaret Ann Rogers Robertson 72, died Sunday February 6 at her residence in Iowa City.

Margaret Ann was born September 26, 1932 in Iowa City to Joseph Peter and Bertha Mary Wanning Rogers. Margaret Ann graduated from City High School, and married Don R. Robertson on February 15, 1951 in Iowa City. She was a member of Women of the Moose, Iowa City Lodge #509.

Margaret was a devoted mother, homemaker, and was involved in all aspects of farm life. As a loving and devoted mother, her children and grandchildren were her heart and soul.
Other joys in her life were the companionship of family and friends, the lively card parties, floating across the dance floor to her favorite music, and brightening up the farm with her beautiful flowerbeds.
Anyone, who personally knew of Margaret’s special cooking talents, looked forward to sitting down to her table.
Like her mother, she had the gifted touch of caring for orphan animals and was particularly known for her love of raising rat terriers.

Margaret’s presence will forever be part of our lives.

Margaret is survived by her five children; Nancy Wilcox of Tiffin, IA, Kenneth (Denise) of Kremmling, CO, Kathy Ann Grout (Ron) of Eagle, CO, Brenda Rotherham (Philip) of Conargo, Australia, Donna Ruth (Pat) of Iowa City, Seven grandchildren; Cody, Travis, Matthew, Jared, Dylan, Kyle, Katlyn, , her aunt Elizabeth Rogers of Iowa City, special cousins Mary Rogers of Iowa City and Irene Rice of Kalona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and uncle and aunt Clarence and Tillie Wanning.
