Betty Jane Jones, 69 of Oxford, IA died suddenly September 12, 2006 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.

Betty was born on May 14, 1937 in Iowa City. She was a nurse’s aid for 23 years. Betty enjoyed reading and walking.

Betty is survived by three sons; John Wenman, Lloyd Wenman, Jeff Wenman, two daughters; Gloria Wenman and Sherrie Hackert (Rick) and eight grandchildren, three sisters; Norma, Joyce and Margaret.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Mildred Hartsock Keefer, two brothers; Burton and Lyle and a son Michael. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
