L. Janice Hallquist, 85, of Iowa City died at her home Wednesday, June 25, 2009.

Janice was born June 3, 1924 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Frank and Olive Caffee
Beers. She was married to the late Robert Hallquist.

Janice is survived by two children, Kristin (Michael) Whitehead of Iowa City and Larry (Rosie) Hallquist of Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren, Denise Hale, Carissa Kaut, Nathan Hallquist and Zachary (Melanie) Hallquist; four great-grandchildren Bradley, Ryan, Katelyn and Kelsey.
