Glenalee Anderson, 56, of Iowa City passed away Thursday August 9, 2007 at UIHC following a courageous battle with cancer.

Glenalee was born on October 28, 1950 in Iowa City, IA to Glen and Hazel (Wade) Cobb. She attended and graduated from English Valley High School in 1969. Glenalee married Maury Anderson on June 22, 1985 in Iowa City.

She is survived by her husband Maury of Iowa City, parents Glen and Hazel Cobb of North English, two step-children; Shana Giese (Rich) of Cedar Rapids, Darcy VanDee (Brad) of Marion, a sister Mary Bouslog of Williamsburg and three grandchildren; Caitlin and Emma Giese and Jaden VanDee.

Glenalee was preceded in death by a brother Robert Cobb.
