Patricia M. Gragg, 76, of North Liberty died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City following a brief illness.

Patricia was born May 27, 1932 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Opal Jordan Vermace.

She had been employed at NCS- Pearson for 29 years.

Patricia loved and cared for her family and friends. She had a strong work ethic and placed the needs of others above her own. Patricia enjoyed her garden and her pets, Taz and Mother Dog.

Patricia is survived by her seven children and 21 grandchildren; Terri Moulds of North Liberty, Theresa Paffel of Cedar Rapids, Kenneth Gragg of Vinton, Nancy Hunter of Des Moines, Christine (Larry) Wilson of Beaver Dam, WI, Stephen (Crystal) Gragg of Troy, TX, and Michael Holmes of Vancouver, WA; numerous great grandchildren; five siblings; Dale Wenman of Lafayette, LA, Bonnie Wenman , Richard (Mary) Wenman, Lloyd (Bess) Wenman, all of Iowa City; and Donald (Crystal) Wenman of Nyra, IA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Bobby and five siblings, Floyd, Frank, Sally,
Barney and Charles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the North Liberty Police and Fire Departments and the Johnson County Ambulance Service.
