Dorothy Musser, 93

Dorothy Louise Musser, 93, of Lone Tree, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Lone Tree Health Care Center. Funeral services for Dorothy will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2009 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church. The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is handling the arrangements for Dorothy's family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lone Tree Fire and Rescue or Amenity Hospice of Cedar Rapids in memory of Dorothy. Dorothy Louise Doerres was born on March 8, 1916 in Lone Tree the daughter of Albert "Bert" and Elizabeth (Jarrard) Doerres. On February 14, 1935, Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert Musser in West Liberty.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by her children, Kay Mincer and her husband, Gary, of Riverside and Krista Levell and her husband, Don, of Coralville; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and one son-in-law, Louis Von Woglom of Houston, Texas.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert, one son, Dewayne, one daughter, Karyl, three brothers, Dewayne, Warren and Donald and one sister, Dorigan.
