Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, at the Lone Tree Methodist church for Mrs. Della May Morrison, who passed away in Iowa City January 4th. Rev. David Finley, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Della May Morrison was born June 21, 1869 near Morning Sun, Iowa the daughter of George and Mary Furnas Siverly. At the time of her death she was 86 years, 6 months and 13 days of age. On January 21, 1892 she was united in marriage to Fred Morrison, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Hukill Rebekah Lodge, Past Noble Grand club, Y book club, Women's Relief Corp and the Lone Tree Methodist church. Surviving relatives include five daughters, Mrs. Howard Eden, Bonaparte, Iowa, Mrs. Harry Cline, Mrs. Leon Petsel of Lone Tree, Mrs. Dorothy Noble of Spokane, Washington, Mrs. A. J. Fabrick, Seattle, Washington; two sons, Warren and Gordon Morrison both of Lone Tree; one brother, Ed Siverly, Bonaparte, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. L. C. Hill, Columbus Junction. Eighteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren also survive. Preceding Mrs. Morrison in death besides her husband were two sons, Ralph and Victor, her parents, one grandson, Lt. Gerald L. Cline and two sisters. The body will remain at Sorden and Adams Funeral home until time of services. Interment will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.
