MRS. ABBOT [sic] DEAD
Well Known Citizen Passed Away Yesterday Afternoon

Mrs. Jennie Abbot [sic] died yesterday afternoon at her residence 114 East Harrison Street. She had been ill for sometime, and death was not unexpected.

Mrs. Abbott had been for many years a resident of Iowa City. She was the widow of Charles Abbot [sic] who died some time ago. Her age was sixty-two years. She was a native of Pennsylvania. The immediate relatives are five sons, Benjamin, Ralph, Fred, Charles, Hal, and one daughter, Mrs. Wainscot of Kansas City.

Mrs. Carrie Wainwright arrived in the city Tuesday from Kansas City, having been summoned here by the death of her mother, Mrs. Jennie Abbott.
