Marge Troyer, 93, formerly of 211 Black Springs Circle, died Friday at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Wellman following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 11 am Thes at the George L. Gay Funeral Home with burial in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 am until the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
She was born 24 Oct 1900 in Iowa City, the daughter of Harry and Nellie Abbott Goody. She was a graduate of Iowa City High Schoool and attended the University of Iowa.
She married Alva J. Troyer 15 Oct 1947, in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a cashier in the business office for N.W. Bell Telephone Co., in Iowa City for 48 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Business and Professional Women.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Ralph Troyer, of Kalona and three nieces.
Her husband died in 1975. Her sister also died earlier.
