Self-employed painter and decorator. m. 2 Jun 1910 to Clara Schump in Iowa City. 2 daughters, Mrs. Daryl (Edith) Swails and Mrs. Dale C. (Ella Mae) Harris, both of Iowa City. 2 sons Clifford of Iowa City, and Lawrence of Mr. Vernon, WA. 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 1 son, 2 brothers, 1 sister died earlier.
