MRS. DEWEY IS CALLED BEYOND

Mrs. Thomas Dewey passed away before dawn today, at her home in Scott township, two miles east of Iowa City. She was 74 years of age, and had resided in Johnson county most of her life.

Surviving are her husband, and three sons of her first husband, and five of her second husband -- the children being as follows: Charles Ceamark, of Illinois; James Ceamark of Illinois; and Will Ceamark of North Liberty; Mrs. Anna Starbuck, Colorado; Albert Dewey, Graham township; Mrs. Ella Murphy, Scott township; Mrs. Jack Font, Rock Island, Ill. and Mrs. Maude Gleek, Iowa City.

Mrs. Dewey was a worthy woman, of many excellent attributes, and her friends throughout the country and city will grieve greatly to learn of her death.

The funeral will be at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The services will be conducted at the Brick Chapel in Scott township.
