BEARD FUNERAL

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Beard were held at the home here Tuesday with Rev. Hansen of the Friends church in charge. Her death occurred after a several years illness.

She was Martha Elizabeth O'Brien and was born in 1848, married Benj. Beard 1867, seven children were born to them, Walter and Fred at home, Mrs. Anna Young of Clinton and Mrs. C. H. Morgan of Swan who survives to mourn their mother's passing. The other children preceded her in death. Interment was at the Brick Chapel cemetery five miles west of West Branch.
