MRS. N. A. BABBITT DIED SATURDAY

PASSED AWAY AT THE HOME ON THE LOWER MUSCATINE ROAD

Mrs. Nancy A. Babbitt died last Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home on the lower Muscatine road. She was a pioneer of this county, having been born in 1853. She was a daughter of Sion Hill who lived at the home with her. There are left two daughters and one son, the husband, Joe Babbitt, having been killed by a train in the southern part of the state about two years ago. The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday at 10 o'clock, Rev. H. H. Fairall having charge of the services. Interment will be in the Brick Chapel cemetery in Scott township.
