Old Resident Laid To Rest

Pioneer Passed Away at North Liberty. Large Family

The funeral of Mrs. Linetta Schely was held yesterday afternoon, the procession leaving the home in North Liberty at noon, for services in the Methodist church at Solon at 1:30. A large concourse of friends was present at the services.

Mrs. Schley passed away Friday after a week’s illness with pneumonia. She was sixty-seven years of age, and has resided in North Liberty about eight years moving form Solon, where her home had been over forty years. She had many friends throughout the county who mourn deeply her passing away.

Ten children survive Mrs. Schley: Henry J. Schley, Chadron, Nebraska; Mrs. Lewis Kessler, Newport; Mrs. Henry Livingstone, Weyborn, Canada; Frederick Schley, North Liberty; Frank Schley, Oxford; Mrs. Arthur Orris, North Liberty; Mrs. Wm. Maxey, North Liberty; Mrs. Frederick Miller, Tipton; Samuel Schley, Weyborn, Canada; and Mrs. Franklin Kasper, Newport.
