FRANK KASPER DIES IN FALL

North Liberty Man Will Be Buried on Saturday Afternoon

NORTH LIBERTY -- Frank Kasper, 79, died at his home one and one-half miles northeast of North Liberty Wednesday afternoon of a heart attack. Mr. Kasper fell down the cellar steps in his farm home, breaking his neck in the fall.

He was born in Newport Township November 28, 1867, the son of Anton and Catherine Greaser Kasper.

In 1892, he married Mary Schley of Solon. They had lived at their farm home for 35 years.

Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Emil Novotny of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Delbert of Iowa City and Fred of North Liberty; a brother, Henry of Iowa City, and six grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Ivy Kessler, died in 1940.

Funeral services will be held at the Oathout funeral chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Victor Goff officiating. Burial will be in the North Liberty cemetery.
