Netti L. Strub, 102 of Lone Tree, died Friday Aug. 16, 1996, at the Lone Tree Heath Center after short illness.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the George L. Gay funeral home with the Rev. Harlan Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Strub was born Jan. 12, 1894, in Oasis, to Lewis and Dora Kessler. She was a resident of Iowa City until 1991, when she went to Lone Tree. She attended Solon and Johnson County (Rapid Creek) schools. She married Charles F. Strub Jan. 11, 1916, in Marion.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Jane Strub, of Iowa City; three grandsons, Greg Strub and his wife, Margi, of Spokane, Wash., Les Strub and his wife, Dee Dee, of Iowa City, and Jeff Strub of Coralville; one granddaughter Valerie Vevera of Iowa City; and nine great-grandchildren.

Her husband, one sister, one son and four brothers died earlier.
