PIONEER CALLED AT AGE OF 74

Mrs. Rebecca Crain, aged 74 passed away about noon, today, at the home of Charles Crain, her grandson, 635 So. Governor Street.

Surviving are her stepsons, T.B. Crain, formerly an alderman of Iowa City; and O.L. Crain, of Lone Tree and her grandson, Charles Crain, assistant cashier of the Johnson County savings bank.

She was dearly-loved by all who knew her, and will be deeply mourned.

The funeral will take place from her late home, Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
