DEATH CLAIMS GEORGE LIEBIG
Funeral Services Will Be Held Tomorrow
Mr. George Liebig, 78, 511 South Lucas Street, died at University hospital at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday after a short illness.
He was born in Johnson County, August 25, 1860. He was married to Miss Cora Huff, February 4, 1891. The couple lived on a farm in Washington township until March 1, 1919, when they moved to Iowa City.
Mr. Liebig was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic Lodge of Sharon.
He is survived by his widow; two sons, Omer and Dale, who live on farms in Washington township; one daughter, Mrs. Ardathe Thomas, of Sioux City, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Oathout's funeral Chapel in charge of Rev. John M. VanKirk of Centerville. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery at Amish.
