Mrs. F. W. Kemmerle Answers Summons.
Many Iowa City people will Mourn Death of Estimable Wife, Mother and Friend.Sorrow came to many Iowa City people today, with the announcement that Mrs. F. W. Kemerle [sic] apssed [sic] away, this morning, at 9:15 at her home, 212 East Church street.
She had been ill months, with Bright's disease, and, despite the hopelessness of her affliction, bore her sufferings with fortitude and resignation.
She was a devoted member of St. Mary's church, and her friends in that institution, and throughout the city, were numbered by the score. She was an estimable wife, mother and friend, and her untimely death will cause great grief throughout the community.
Mrs. Kemmerle was but 38 years of age, and had spent the past 10 years in this city, having come hither from Illinois, in June 1902.
Surviving are her husband, a prominent manufacturer, and two daughters, Hazel and Irene, aged 14 and 12 respectively.
The funeral will take place Saturday morning, at 9 o'clock, from St. Mary's church. Friends who wish to call at the Kemmerle home may do so, Friday afternoon or evening, between 2 and 4, or 7 and 9.
