Todd Michael Skay, 42, of Carlisle and formerly of Iowa City died Friday, November 8, 2002, at the Kavanagh House Hospice in Des Moines following a lengthy Illness.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City. Memorial donations may be directed to the Todd Skay Memorial Fund. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City, Iowa 52244.

Todd was born October 26, 1960, in Iowa City, the son of James and Barbara Curtis Skay.

He graduated from West High School. He had lived in Dubuque for eight years, moving to Carlisle six years ago. He had worked as a bartender for many years.

He enjoyed his family, friends, music, animals and especially the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Todd is survived by his mother, Barbara Skay Ostling and her husband Ronald of Des Moines; three brothers, Curt Skay and his children John, Courtney, Mackenzie and Kiley, and Jayme Skay, both of Iowa City, and Tim Skay and his wife Sherri and their children J.D. and Kaici of Carlisle; and one sister, Mary Forbes and her husband Scott and their children Stephanie and Jacob of Eldridge, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, John, and his grandparents.
