Jeanette F. Lynch, 60, died Monday at her home in Iowa City.

Funeral Services to celebrate Jeanette’s life will be at 11am, Friday, July 13, 2007
at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City with Deacon Jerry Miller officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family will greet friends after 10am, Friday at the funeral home. A reception at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Catholic Community Foundation for the Regina Athletic Program, Box 1581, Iowa City, Iowa 52244.

Jeanette was born November 15, 1946 in Clearwater, Nebraska, the daughter of
Martin and Elsie Cooley Rittscher. She was a 1965 graduate of the University of Iowa.
Jeanette married Larry Lynch in August, 1969 in Iowa City. In January, 2006
she married Larry Jackson.

Jeanette had been a medical technologist at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, and later
at Cross Medical Laboratories. Most recently Jeanette had been employed at Muscatine General Hospital.

Jeanette had volunteered at Hancher Auditorium and Riverside Theatre.
She enjoyed Regina Athletics, the theatre and needlepoint. Jeanette loved
time spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Larry Jackson of Iowa City; four children,
Julie Lynch and husband, Matt Asher and their children Cullen and Patrick of
Charleston, SC; Ann Hawley and husband, Jeff and their children Madison and Lauren of Austin, TX, Peter Lynch and fiancé, Sarah Oakes of Davenport, and Mark Lynch and spouse, Amy and their son Tate of Davenport; her mother, Elsie of Kismit, Kansas;
siblings, Thomas (Pat) Rittscher, Keith (Diane) Rittscher, Larry (Gale) Rittscher,
Jerrie Folkers, Patti (Marlin) Bainbridge, Don (Carol) Rittscher; former spouse, Larry Lynch and a large extended family.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her father.
