Audry Anciaux, 92, formerly of Iowa City., died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at English Valley Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 25, 2007 1:30 PM at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service with entombment at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A reception at Zion Lutheran Church will follow the committal. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8pm. Memorial may be directed to Mercy Hospital Foundation.

Audry was born December 27, 1914 in Rutledge, MO the son of John and Inez (Burkhart) Anciaux. Audry married Josephine Zeithamel on November 17, 1935 in Rutledge, MO. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Audry ,Josephine, and their children owned and operated Unique Cleaners in downtown Iowa City for 57 years.

He was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Audry is survived by his daughter, Patricia (George) Turecek of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida and her children Kurtis Klinefelter of Phoenix and Mark (Gretchen) Klinefelter of Liberty, Missouri; his son, Audry Richard Jr. (Viola) of North English, IA and his daughter Angela, of Iowa City, IA.; his great grandson Kurtis Klinefelter Jr.; sister, Elsie Paisley of Galesburg, IL.
