Ramona M. Dvorak, 77 formerly of Cedar Rapids, died, Monday, May 14, 2007 at Iowa City Rehabilitation after a courageous battle with emphysema.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm at Lensing Funeral Home & Cremation Services- 605 Kirkwood Ave.,Ramona’s funeral service will be Thursday at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be on 10:00am Friday at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Belle Plaine ,Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family or Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ramona was born July 6, 1929 the daughterof LeRoy and Geneva (Fabor) Oldfield. On February 23, 1948 she married Charles Dvorak in Des Moines, IA. Charles and Ramona owned and operated the Roller Drome’s in Cedar Rapids and Marion, Iowa.

Ramona was a selfless, giving and caring person. She devoted her entire life to caring for her children. Ramona had a special love for her grandchildren and was always very proud of all they did. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rose Payn of Cedar Rapids, IA, Margie Yoder and her husband Dale of Iowa City, IA; three grandchildren; Dan Payn and his fiancé Juliet of Belle Plaine, IA, Jennifer Stout and her husband Craig of Iowa City, IA, Elissa Yoder of Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by two brothers, LeRoy and Helen Oldfield of Marion, IA. and Jerry Oldfield and his wife Sue of Garland, TX. Ramona is also survived by several nieces and nephews, especially niece, Linda and her husband Bert Breckenridge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles and by one sister, Kathleen.
