Patricia (Ann) R. Doyle, 71 of Emerson Point died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics following a brief illness.

The family will greet friends on Saturday from 1-4:00pm at Lensing Funeral Home & Cremation Services-605 Kirkwood Ave. Iowa City. At 4pm the family will release balloons in her honor.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Patricia R. Doyle Memorial Fund.

Patricia was born October 15, 1935 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the daughter of LeRoy and Bettie (Reed) Shackelford. Patricia worked as a Book Keeper for Kempton Kline Co. In 1985 she earned her BA from St. Ambrose University. Patricia enjoyed reading and all types of crafts, watching the Cubs and Professional figure skating.

She is survived by her three children; Joyce Doyle of Coralville, IA, Jim Doyle (Tish) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Tom Doyle (Cassie) of Moline, IL. She is survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and by one sister, Ginger (Dale) Knight of Tennessee. She is survived by her former husband, Walter Doyle of Davenport, IA

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter ,Diane, and one son, Wesley.
