Nathan Wade Youngs, 46, of Iowa City died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City following a long illness.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Nathan’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 10th, at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City with Military Rites provided by the Coralville American Legion Walter Johnson Post #721. In lieu of flowers a general memorial fund has been established.

Nathan was born June 11, 1960 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Lawrence and Wanda (Johnson) Youngs. He married Gail Rodriguez December 31, 1998 in Iowa City.

He is survived by his wife; nine children, Devin Youngs of Florida, Rory Youngs of Cedar Rapids, IA, Katie Youngs of Iowa City, IA, Tina Meyers and her husband Kevin of Dewitt, IA, Anna Bryant and her husband Scott of North Liberty, IA, Salvador Orona of West Liberty, IA, Paul Orona of Germany, Lori Nodel of West Branch, IA and Annie Graves of Tipton, IA; two sisters, Tanya Conklin and her husband Roy of Coralville, IA and Crystal Youngs of Iowa City, IA; two brothers, Varney Youngs and his wife Virginia of Rochester, IA, Robert Youngs of West Liberty, IA; his step-mother Judy Youngs of West Liberty, IA; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Nathan was preceded in death by his parents.
