Sharon K. McMillan, 52, of 1121 Seymour Avenue died Friday, May 4, 2007
at UIHC following a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 6, 2007 at 3:30pm at First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ed Morgan officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 4 to 8pm at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City. Committal services will be Monday at 10am at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Camp Sunshiney Day c/o University of Iowa Foundation.

Sharon was born March 20, 1955 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond
and Grace Krause Schipull. Sharon was raised in Hardy, Iowa and was a graduate of Iowa Central College and the University of Iowa, where she received her BSN. On June 22, 1985 she married Anthony McMillan in Iowa City.

Sharon was a registered nurse for thirty one years at UIHC, where she cared for children
in pediatrics.

Sharon was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed bicycling
and spending time in her garden. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Anthony and their son, Nicholas of Iowa City;
her mother Grace Schipull of Humboldt; five siblings, Roger Schipull of Hardy, IA,
Dennis (Ramona) Schipull of Northwood, IA, Glenda Carpio of Greeley, CO,
Bruce (Kim) Schipull of Hardy, IA, and Diane (Randy) Sykora of Windom, MN and several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father.
