Judith A. Moore, 69, of 823 Edgewater Drive in Coralville, died Tuesday, April 24th at Mercy Hospital following a short illness.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10: 00a.m. Saturday, April 28th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Reverend Ed Fitzpatrick officiating. Friends may call Friday from 4-8 at Lensing’s Oak Hill-Coralville. A rosary will be recited at 5p.m. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The American Cancer Society.

Judith was born June 29th, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Charles and Mary Ann (Koutnik) Porazil. She graduated from Wilson High School in Cedar Rapids. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Moore on July 16th, 1960 in Cedar Rapids. For over 21 years, Judith worked for the Iowa City Community School district as the kitchen manager at West High School.

Judith loved to travel with her husband Ken to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

Judith is survived by her husband Ken of Coralville, one son Kenneth of Tucson, Arizona, one daughter Sarah Moore of Nichols, Iowa, four sisters Marilyn Lampe of Cedar Rapids, Charlotte Schope of Dubuque, Susan Herman of Cedar Rapids and Marsha Solem of Phoenix, AZ, and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Dawn Ham.
