Jeremy J. Jenn, 18 of Hills chose to end his life Friday, July 14, 2006.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Iowa City with Reverend Louis Leonhardt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery, rural Hills. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 pm Monday, July 17, 2006 at St Wencelaus Catholic Church, Iowa City. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences for Jeremy’s family may be sent through our website @ www.gayandciha.com.

Jeremy was born on October 30, 1987 in Iowa City. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hills and graduated with honors from West High School in May 2006. Jeremy was very active in sports during high school and was a current member of the Iowa City West High Baseball team. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and BPA.

Jeremy’s family includes his parents Steve and Chris Jenn of Hills, his brother Tyler at home, his maternal grandparents Trish Murray and Paul Rummelhart of Hills, his paternal grandparents Joe and Rita Jenn of Riverside, and a special friend Natalie Buschelman. Aunts and uncles Joann Murdock and John Greenwood of Riverside, Kathy and Bill Fortune of Denver, Colorado, Eileen Allen of Oxford, Anita and Ben Norman of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Joyce and Ralph Roper of Baloknob, Arkansas, Donna and Randy Arthur of Ainsworth, Linda and Allen Beeler of Iowa City, Tom and Diane Jenn of Iowa City, Mary Kay and Tom Hora of Riverside, Jerry Murphy of Washington, and Kyla and Eddie Pechous of Iowa City and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dick Murray, his aunt, Beth Murphy, his great grandmother Julia Daering and great grandparents Ray and Mildred Murray.

The Gay and Ciha Funeral Cremation Service, Iowa City is caring for Jeremy’s family and his services.
