Kathleen E. Kinsinger, 88 of 1320 Hollywood Blvd., Iowa City died Sunday, November 26, 2006, at Windmill Manor Care Center in Coralville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with the Reverends Paul Akin and Lorraine Hartman officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Amenity Hospice. Kathleen Eunice Campbell Kinsinger was born October 9, 1918, in Johnson County, Iowa the daughter of Earl Campbell Sr. and Viola (Beals) Campbell. She graduated from Cosgrove High School. On August 27, 1944, she was united in marriage to Orville Kinsinger at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa City. For a number of years she worked in sales and later in the office of the Montgomery Wards Store in Iowa City. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was active in United Methodist Women, and had taught Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, but most of all she loved her time with her family, especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her family includes her husband, Orville; daughters, Deanna Molina and Ronda Kinsinger both of Iowa City; two grandsons, Erik and Troy Milbrandt; three great-grandchildren, Cecilia, Colby, and Brayden; and one sister, Remona Roth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Duane on January 5, 1984; sisters, Luretta Kinsinger and Dorthy Campbell, and one brother, Earl Campbell Jr.

Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City is caring for Kathleen’s family and her services.
