Donald L. Lehman, 71, 2801 Highway 6 East in Iowa City, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a long illness.

Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City with Chaplain Mary Kay Kusner officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Memorials may be directed to the Johnson County Ambulance Service.

Don was born March 27, 1935 in Iowa City, the son of Arthur & Edna (Abbey) Lehman. He has been a lifelong Iowa City resident and worked as a carpenter for 20 years – retiring in 1992. He married Muriel Angelsberg October 10, 1985 in Iowa City. Don served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife Muriel of Iowa City:
daughters, Stephanie Von Lienen of North Liberty, Rita Vickroy (Rob) of Belvedere, South Carolina, Robin Starbuck of North Liberty,
son, Terry Lehman (Bonny) of Iowa City, step-sons, Michael Angelsberg of Coralville & Randy Embree of Oxford;
seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Richard & David and a sister, Millie Hayslett Lovetinsky.
