Tony Karl Rash, 43, Iowa City, died suddenly March 6, 2006 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday March 10, 2006 at Coralville United Methodist Church, 806 13th Ave, Coralville with Pastor Doug Williams officiating. Private burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Coralville. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday at Lensings Oakhill, 210 Holiday Road, Coralville. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Tony’s children.

Tony was born on June 29, 1962 in Ottumwa, IA to Wilbur and Mildred Banks Rash. He married Dianne McInville on July 20, 1985 in Iowa City, IA. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May of 1989. Tony took pride in his work as a Registered Nurse at the UIHC since 1990.

Tony is survived by his wife, Dianne, who loved him very much, two loving children Megan and Michael, four siblings, Mary Barrett (Frank) of Iowa City, Alan Rash (Terry) of Cedar Rapids, Roy Rash (Jeanne) of Illinois, Sharon Rash of Davenport, parents-in-law James and Louise McInville of Iowa City, brother-in-law Dean McInville (Theresa) of West Des Moines, sister-in-law Elaine Davis (Neal) of North Liberty.

Tony will be greatly missed by his wife and children. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers.
