Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kloos and Four
Generations of Kinsfolk Observe
the Day Appropriately.
---
After 38 years of happy wedded life Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kloos deemed it "meet, fitting and proper" to celebrate the anniversary of their life-union, an event that was solemnized almost 40 years ago, on New Year's day, 1868.
In accordance with this plan about twenty of the kinsfolk of this estimable couple assembled at the home of the "bride and groom" on New Year's day, and a delightful function, with sumptuous feasting followed.

Four Generations There.
A feature of the event was the presence and pleased participation on the part of four generations.
The generations in question embraced Mrs. Kloos' mother, Mrs. Mary Tucker; Mr. and Mrs. Kloos, themselves; Art. Kloos and Mrs. Geo. Seydel, son and daughter of the host and hostess; and Mrs. Seydel's little ones.
After a half-century of upright living in Johnson county, Mr. and Mrs. Kloos are entitled to all the good wishes their friends showered upon them this glad New Year.
