COUPLES LICENSED

Muscatine, Ia., Sept. 5,--The marriage bureau conducted by E. C. Erwin, clerk of the district court, did a rushing business today with the issuance of six marriage licenses. Three couples were in the office at one time this afternoon.
John A. Beach and Daisy R. Beach, who were divorced three months ago in the district court, decided they had enough of living apart and were among the applicants for a license.
Others who obtained licenses are Earl F. Spitznogle and Meva L. Blake, Alfred G. Franklin and Jennie R. Koepping, Frances Temple and Vera M. Hudnall, Peter L. Dillon and Edna Westerfelt, and Clarence Halley and Erma Fortune.
