Iowa Heiress is Married

Iowa City, July, 22-Miss Laura Haas, formerly a poor stenographer at the University of Iowa, who later inherited $200,000 from her uncle, whom she attended faithfully during his last illness, was married in Chicago to Alexander Murphy, an officer of the Pacific Mail Company, at San Francisco, says a telegram to friends here.
