MEMORIAL DAY IS OBSERVED
Exercises Held Sunday Morning at Church in Sharon CenterSHARON CENTER - June 4 - Memorial services were held Sunday morning at the Evangelical church. An appropriate address was given by Rev. M.E. Shank. The octette are W.I. Weeber, Ivan Maas, Oren Alt, Lee Schwimley, M.E. Shank, Omar Yoder, J.T. Winborn and E.E. Miller. The church was decorated with flowers which were taken to the nearby cemetery after the service and placed on the graves of departed loved ones. Among those present from a distance were Rev. A. Schwimley, Mr. and Mrs. P.F. Schwimley and Mrs. Carrie Marner of Wellman, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hesselschwerdt and Mrs. A.T. Winborn of Kalona, Mrs. Wallace Nicola of Riverside, J.H. Miller and family, Mrs. Leah Yoder, Mr. J.F. Wirds and family of Iowa City.
