Matt Miller Joins Kalona News Staff

Matt Miller is the new ad sales representative for the Kalona News. A native of Kalona, he graduated from Mid-Prairie High School and attended the University of Iowa.
"I lived most of my life close to Kalona," said Miller, "as I have a lot of family in the area - the Miller family as well as Rhodes family. I guess my roots are here in Kalona even though I have traveled extensively across the country. Trips to Colorado are among my favorite place. My mother still lives on the home place just outside of Kalona."
Miller has been in the insurance business for a number of years and continues to service his current clientele. He on the Kalona Historical Society Board and says, "will continue to promote Kalona as a historical small town as well as presently. I attribute my love of history to my father."
Miller lists hobbies as hunters for antiques, making salsa and is a Chicago Cubs and Packers fan.
