GEORGE STRUBLE
BACK IN ATHENS
----
Mr. and Mrs. George Struble are here from Spokane, Wash., visiting relatives and friends.
They have long lived in the west. This is the first visit of Mrs. Struble (formerly Miss Mamie O'Brien, of Iowa City) in about 14 years, and the first of Mr. Struble in about 12. He came hither when his father, J. T. Struble, passed away. Mr. Struble is a successful moving picture theater owner (the Rex) in Seattle. His son Robert, a mere child in his Iowa City days, has since served overseas in the aviation corps, having been enlisted when in his teens, about 17. The youthful warrior was shot down once, when Hun bullets in his arm [sic]. He was lost for six months, and was mourned as one dead, by his fellow-heroes, until the war department located him.
