WED AT MINNEAPOLIS

Rev. Percy LEACH and Miss Hattie HODGES Are United in Bonds of Wedlock

"The marriage of Rev. Percy LEACH and Miss Hattie HODGES took place New Years night, at the Christian church in Minneapolis.
The best man was Dr. Harry G. PLUM of Iowa City, and the maid of honor was Miss Marie HODGES, sister of the bride.
The Episcopal service was read, and after the ceremony, 100 guests attended a reception at the home of Mrs. E. HUMPHREY's.
The bride wore white Swiss, trimmed in mechlin lace, her skirt was tucked to the waist and she carried bride roses.
The bride is a winsome and gifted young woman with a legion of friends in the Twin Cities. She will receive a royal welcome to Iowa City.
The groom is the able and well-loved pastor of the Christian church here. His talent, enterprise and personal worth have made him scores of friends since he came here, and his parishoners will not be alone in their congratulations and golden wishes when he returns to the Athens with his lovely bride next week." --Iowa State Press, January 7, 1903
