Mrs. Wesley Erusha, Sr. will be Seventy-three yrs. old Friday

Friday, December 4, Mrs. Wesley Erusha Sr., will celebrate her 73rd birthday.

Mrs. Erusha, who maiden name was Barbara Cechura, was born in Bohemia. When she was three years old, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Cechura came to America, locating on a farm 5 miles east of Solon. Here they resided for five years, then moving to Oxford township.

On November 24, 1886, Barara Cechura was united in marriage to Wesley Erusha. They went to housekeeping on a farm north of Oxford and resided in Oxford township for nearly fifty years. Mr. Erusha passed away August 1, 1936 following a short illness.

To the happy union of Barbara Cechura and Wesley Erusha, Sr., five children were born; four sons, Wesley, Antone, Frank and Joe. They adopted a daughter, Mrs. Charles Tomash. Mrs. Erusha has three grandchildren, Vivan and Patricia Erusha and Doris Tomash.

Although 73 years old, Mrs. Erusha looks to be much younger. She enjoys fairly good health and insists on doing her share of the work about the house each day.
