I was so pleased to hear from you and had intended to write you all a long letter but tonight I'll send you this card of our celebration on July 4th. I have been attending Chautauqua. It was so good. We hear Elmer Bridenstine died Sunday in Des Moines. (part is missing - You knew .....was burned so .....and is getting along.....I write you....when I have...always glad to .....little bright eyed girl. With Love, Mattie Myers Stoner.
