Edward Frees' Will Note 71st Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Frees of Beverly Manor Convalescent Center will observe their 71st wedding anniversary on Monday.

Mr. Frees is 99 and Mrs. Frees (Mary Lichty) is 90. The couple was married February 15, 1900 and lived in the Oxford area till moving to Iowa City three years ago.

They are the parents of 10 children: Marvin and Leonard of Oxford; Mrs. Alice Hines of Vacaville, California; John of Tacoma, Washington; Robert of Solon; Mrs. Don (Ethel) Farrens of Clarinda; Francis, Edward and Mrs. Harry (Edna) Laschke of Iowa City. Another daughter, Mrs. James (Jeanette) Schneider, is deceased.

The couple has 30 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
