A.B.; valedictorian Class of 1840. Born Jan. 18, 1819, near Waynesboro. Brother of J.M. Denwiddie, Class of 1836. Practiced Law, Iowa City, Ia., 1842-46; banking, Iowa City, Ia., 1846-67. Member, Territorial Legislature, 1845-46; register, U.S. Land Office, Iowa City, Ia., under Pres. Filmore. Died Sept. 26, 1867. Married Oct. 8, 1845, Jane Murray, Iowa City, Ia.
